Hilary Stanton-Geddes started her swimming career in Plattsburgh, NY, She competed in the Adirondack Region, setting many pool and district records during her years as an age group swimmer. She went on to swim for Amherst College and was at one time her college's 200yd Breastroke record holder. However, her most proud moments are currently as a coach. She has had the great privilege over the last 3 years to lead her team at Burlington Tennis Club to Vermont State Championship victories all 3 years. She has found her true passion in leading the next generation of young swimmers on their swimming journey. It is her greatest joy to be able to now lead the CVSA Sturgeons.

Growing up in Manistee, Michigan, Taylor’s swimming journey began at age 7 on the local summer recreational team. The love of swimming stayed with her through college, where she swam and graduated from Albion College in 2019. At Albion College, Taylor primarily swam distance freestyle events with her favorite race being the 500 freestyle. Coaching has been a passion of her’s since her senior year of high school, and she has been coaching beginner to high school age swimmers ever since. After completing her Master’s degree at the University of Michigan, she moved to Vermont in the summer 2022 and is thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to the thriving swimming community at the CVSA Sturgeons. She has been an invaluable asset to the Burlington Tennis Club's swim team staff the past 2 summers, we look forward to having her as a Sturgeon now!
