Safe Sport Policies
All team members, parents, coaches, athletes and volunteers of CVSA help to keep our athletes safe from mistreatment and abuse. We seek to create a positive team environment that fosters the safety, wellbeing, and development of each athlete to their fullest potential. All athletes will be treated with fairness and consideration. All athletes are welcome and belong on our competitive swimming team. We will strive to create an environment where all can grow and thrive.
We fully support and uphold the guidelines outlined in USA's Swimming Minor Athlete Abuse and Prevention Policies.
USA Swimming's Safe Sport Webpage has education resources and action items for how to respond to and report any potential safe sport violations. We all work together to keep our athlete's safe. Click here to report a safe sport concern or potential violation.
Here are pages for the USA Swimming 2025 Rulebook and USA Swimming By-Laws outlining Athlete Protection Policies for US Swimming Clubs, Meets, and Sanctioned Events. Here are 5 tips for parents for upholding safe sport policies for children participating in sport.
