Hi Team-

We are back in action after a long, fun weekend at UVAC. We had many best times and fast swims. I even updated the team record book, check it out on the team records tab of the team website. I loved watching the team come together and compete. It was fun watching them try their hardest regardless of the outcome; 1st place, last place, good race, bad race, DQ, or anything in between. The swimmers can be proud of their efforts if they gave it their all. I have attached a PDF of the results to this email. They are also included on the schedule tab under past events and under the meet title. You will notice that in the results you will see next to your swimmer's name and time whether they made a bronze or silver cut time. It will say Bronze or Silver. That will indicate if your swimmer is eligible to attend these championships. In the coming weeks I will put together a list of swimmers and their eligibility, but if you have any questions ask me.

If you have not done any UVAC meets yet, the January 5th one is a must attend if you want a shot at times for the next round of championship meets. I have extended the deadline until 10:30pm tonight. Please sign up today! I will be submitting draft entries tomorrow morning and I would love to have a compete list to give the entry chair. I can always add people last minute but it is easier and better for me if I know now. 

Also we have another home meet up on the agenda this Saturday the morning of December 14th. We will be racing some kids from Addison Otters. Please sign up your swimmer and sign yourself up for a job. It will be home for the whole family. 

Last order of business, if you want team gear, we have opened the team store again. The store will close next Monday December 16th at 10pm! So if you missed out on team sweatshirts, sweatpants, swimsuits, beanies, etc, and want some please place your order today! You can access the team page under the team store tab on our website. Thanks for reading everyone. Also a special thank you to the parents who volunteered to time or officiate this weekend, you are true meet heroes. Thank you to those who were able to make the drive (some of it through sketchy winter weather conditions). Meets are more fun when kids have more friends to hang out with and share this competitive experience with. Thanks to all for your dedication and efforts!
