Hi Pentathlon Team-

I have all of the meet information for the Pentathlon at the Goodyear pool at Norwich University this Sunday the 12th. I have attached the wonderful piece of literature, the holy grail of this meet, otherwise known as the Parent/Team Information briefing. Please familiarize yourself with all it's details. 

Big Details:

Arrive: 9:50am 

Warm-Up: 10:10-10:30am

Jobs:

Our team is required to fill 3 timer positions. This is a longer 1 session meet and it is expected to go the full 4 hours, therefore I have included a sign up for relief positions as well. The timers meeting is at 10:30am in the gymnasium, meet there to get all the details of the timing job assignment. 

Also for this meet there is very little deck space (unlike UVAC) so the kids and the adults spend a lot of their time in the rompus room known as the Norwich gymnasium. So I have added 2 Gym Lane Wrangler positions to our team job sheet, these are not required, but in my opinion, very necessary positions that will make coach Kari and I's jobs as coaches at this meet much better. Otherwise we will be the wranglers and no one will be the coaches and that will not be good. The wrangler will organize kids into event age groups in their lane assignments and they will get groups of these kids from the gym down the stairs to the door of the pool deck where coach Kari and I will be waiting for them. We will send them back to the gym after their events. I have included relief positions in this role so you all can self organize for coverage during breaks to watch your kids swim from the stands. This position requires a heat sheet (which I will give you), good herding capabilities, a loud voice, and a decent sense of humor.
